In the wild forests of the Stelvio National Park, Horst Eberhöfer – former poacher and now passionate nature photographer – embarks on a journey to his roots, deep in the heart of the Alps. The search for an encounter that will change everything: a face-to-face meeting with a mother bear and her cubs.

Markus Frings
Since 1990 Markus Frings has worked as a radio and television journalist in Alto Adige. He currently organises various editorial programmes for "Südtirol Journal" radio, as well as working on the making and production of a number of monthly television series for the RAI in Bolzano. He also worked for the ORF in Vienna for a time.
