From the coast of Genoa to the 4,554-meter-high Capanna Margherita on Monte Rosa, the Italian School’s first mountaineering expedition is taking shape. The expedition is organized by the IIS “Martin Luther King” in Genoa, a school designated by the Ministry of Education and Merit for the Scuola Futura program.

Lorenzo Micheli
Lorenzo Micheli is a producer, speaker, host, and curator of large cultural and educational events that bring innovative formats of participation and entertainment to the stage, transforming every occasion into experiences capable of engaging and inspiring new generations. In 2020, he created the MAB project and network, dedicated to spreading outdoor education practices across Europe through participatory mapping of territories. In line with this approach, he has also developed an editorial line in the field of educational documentary filmmaking, writing screenplays and contributing to the production of films and documentaries dedicated to places and the people who inhabit them.
