With impressive close-ups, Andreas Petrett shows how wild animals depend on human help in the winter.

Roe and deer eat hay that has been laid out in feeding stations, Alpine choughs pounce on pieces of bread scattered on a beam, and various birds peck at the grains in a birdhouse.
Only the fox can hunt well despite the large amount of snow.
One sequence is dedicated to Mili Weber with her deer "Fin", who comes to her every winter and lets herself be caressed.

Here are the images of various animals that need help: foxes that get stuck in traps, injured animals or abandoned puppies, which humans take care of. The gamekeepers are therefore committed to safeguarding animals throughout the year.
