Les Rendez-vous du diable is a French documentary film directed by Haroun Tazieff made in 1958, released on January 1, 1959. This 80-minute film is Haroun Tazieff's most famous, somewhat like Cousteau's World of Silence, a film that inspired Tazieff. The famous geologist filmed active volcano craters in Europe, Indonesia, Japan, Central America, South America, and the African Great Lakes. Tazieff always tries to be as close as possible to the crater, despite the danger and permanent risks to be taken, to immerse us in the heart of the eruption.
