The feature-length documentary illustrates the places and inhabitants, fauna and flora, customs and traditions of Aguaverde in the "llanos" of Apura, an immense tropical grassland between Venezuela and Colombia. A tribe of Indians hopes to find a permanent home in the vicinity of "criollos," cattle ranchers, but is driven away from it by adventurers, who have obtained a concession in that area.
