In February 1972, funded by the CNR, a scientific expedition in Niger, to Gadoufou, was carried out. The aim was to study the "dinosaurs cemetery", discovered in 1971 by Giancarlo Ligabue and Cino Boccazzi. The documentary narrates the phases of the expedition until the localization of the fossils in the heart of Sahara Desert, on Teneré plateau.
