The lost world that this documentary tries to evoke is the one of the American pre-Columbian civilizations: great populations as Mayas, Incas, and Aztechs lived their apogee during the Christian Era, but had already disappeared when Colombus arrived to their lands. The document investigates also about the cultural, artistical anche architechtural analogies between American and Egyptian populations, and reconstructs the voyage on a papyrus boat which lasted 57 days from Africa to America and concluded in the Caribbeans.
