This film, produced by Yorkshire television, has provoked in England interest and fun. It's the story of a 46-years-old woman, Anna, and of her solitary work in the 23 acres field in High Pennines, both in cultivation and grazing. In this area of Yorkshire winter never ends. Beside Anna live, with their families, little shepherds communities. Once in a year Anna and the other inhabitants of High Pennines descend to the valley in order to take part in the harvest feast. Then, they come back up on their mountains, where long winters are waiting for them.
