Barry Cockcroft, the director of "Long Winter", proposes a new socio-economical report about the areas of High Pennine of Northern Scotland. In an abandoned valley, only a few people remained and continue to be farmers in a profound relation with this land, and they often meet with a community near them, sharing experiences and solidarity.
