Consonno was a beautiful village of sharecroppers, situated on a charming hillock between woods and fields not far from Lecco. About fifteen years ago, a contractor, a certain Count Bagno, bought the village and the sorrounding fields from the owner of the village. He planned to transform the place into a "tourist center". The project was a failure and now Consonno is a sad and creepy ruin where the inhabitants still wait for the house that was promised them 15 years ago.
