During a field survey among the Abruzzese Apennine mountains for a mean metre lenghth commissioned by Abruzzo Region, the author quite accidentaly comes across a thireenth century Bendectin Abbey with beautiful frescoe painted by unknown master and conserved intact thanks to the dry mountain climate.
