A fake fire is started in the woodland park of Vallunga in Rovereto. The firemen are brought to the scene and support is given by the Civil Protection Organization of the Autonomous Province of Trento. The operation "Red Wood", which begins at 6 am and ends at 2 pm, involves over 300 people whose sole purpose is to guarantee the best possible protection for the population threatened by this calamity. The film not only shows the organization involved but also the new methods used.
