On 7 June 1981 a boy of 11 years reaches the top of Mont Blanc and comes down the north face on skis. His name is Papik Vallencant. He had left Aiguille du Midi on 6 June and the next day skis down the giddy north slope in a hundred or more turns among extremely high seracs in fabulous scenery.
