A guide of the Tatra mountains takes his son into the mountains to teach him the correct way to climb. The film is not confined to the initial techniques and equipment used for climbing but also provides an opportunity for considering the relationship between man and the mountains. The considerations of the father and son leat to an awareness of risks that should never be underestimated in the mountains and to a greater sense of responsability.
