The film recounts the events in an alpinistic expedition to conquer Broad Peak, in the Karakoram mountain chin. The members of the expedition trained very hard in view of the departure. It also provides an opportunity for mixing with the local population of the Balti. On 6/9/1984 Cancagno, Enzio and Vidoni reach the peak.
