Old trees are considered to be useless and are often cut down. Instead they are very important fot the stability of the wood and absolutely necessary for the life of birds such as tits, woodpeckers, hoopoes and owls who are the lively characters in this documentary. In particular the film follows the life of the owl, its resting time during the day and hunting during the night, its nest in a tree hollow, the birth and growth of the young fed by the parents until the moment in which they discover the life in the forest for themselves and the art of huntin at night.
