This documentary was filmed on the slopes of Monte Baldo, that for centuries has been called "the garden of Europe". It presents alpine flora that is among the riches and most varied in the whole area of the Alps. Being so near Lake Garda, Monte Baldo is unique not only for its vegetation but also for its entire ecological system which is the feature of a delicate balance between alpine and Mediterranean environments.
