This is a film that, through made insiide Gran Paradiso National Park, is not just about aspects of the park's fauna and environment but recalls its history and social and productive life as there are towns and industries within this protected area that were once flourishing and contributed considerably to the national economy. The film includes scenes taken in the past, in particular on the birth and development of the large Cogne mine.
