By alternating normal filming with "macro" filming, this film introduces us to the landscape of the sea bottom which is usually hidden from man's sight. The flora and fauna are amazingly rich in shapes and colours that are exalted by the rare precision of the underwater camera. Even if it is true that this world is brutal in the fight for survival of the various species, at the same time it is a piece of paradise full of picturesque scenes with a parade of animals never photographed by man before.
