A team recorded the activity of the Sicilian volcanoes, Etna, Vulcano and Stromboli. The scenes of Etna refer particularly to its activity in 1984 and 1985 with the serious effects it had on the agriculture and tourism. The eruptions of Vulcano also provide interesting though less dangerous aspects. Lastly Stromboli, which is a volcano that has never ceased its activity over the last two thousand years, offers Dantesque images especially in the last bug eruption in 1985. The contact between the lava and the sea creates a great impression.
