Even India has a meteorological station on the Antarctic ice-pack. This documentary describes the stages of the fifth expedition. A large group of scientists and experts set up the station with the help of heavy mechanical means. The huts for the living-quarters and work are erected and sensitive equipment is installed in the laboratories to test the ice, snow, air, winds and anything else that will help towards finding out more about the planet we live in.
