The mountaineer Robert Peroni and a troupe from the Bayerischer Rundfunk cross greenland, the largest island in the world, from Angmagssalik in the south to Sermiligaq in the north on skis, sledges and by helicopter. This provides an opportunity for showing this boundless region always covered by ice and a glimpse of the Eskimoes' life, with seal hunting by the Maratse Clan in Sermiligaq.
