Martine Rolland is the first professional female alpine guide. Helped by her husband, Jean Jeacques, she takes a group of children climbing with her son who is 12 years old. The boy dreams of high peaks and with his mother climbs the east wall of the Grand Capucin. The film also shows the kind of relationship that exists between mother and son.
