The film portays high altitude mountaineering in an unusual manner. The idea for this film was born while lying in bed and gazing the ceiling fitted with training bars. "Mons Olympus Expedition" analyzes all the motivations behind the conquest of the highest peaks in the Himalaya. However the spirit of this expedition was considerably more exacting. Mons Olympus which is 8227m high is not only the highest peak on the Mars but in the whole solar system. The film was shot without any initial screenplay and constructed with the help of all interpreters while it was being made.
