This is a documentary about some unusual expeditions to the North Pole. Shinyi Kazama of Tokyo decides to go to the North Pole by motorcycle but, at Resolute Bay, the departure point for all polar expeditions, there are other people who are all making for the same place. Penn Flowers wants to be the first woman to reach the North Pole on foot. A French team is trying to get to the North Pole with lightweight equipment. An Australian intends to reach the Pole by helicopter. Lastly a group of American tourists decides to spend a short holiday at the North Pole.
