A documentary of great interest on the relationship between the original tribes of Borneo and the need to exploit the forest. This is the story of Penan tribe. It is a story of the Penan tribe which is usually prefered not to know, like the one in Amazonas. It deals, in fact, with the potential extinction of yet another tribal culture. Bruno Manser is a Swiss man who has been living and fighting with the Penan for four years and has brought to the attention of the world a sad case of environmental and cultural destruction. This long documentary tells us the story of this European man and the Penan people in Malaysia living out the last days of their nomadic life in the forest of Borneo.
