K2 is the second highest mountain in the world but it is considered to be the most difficult one to climb. Tragedy always seems to have accompanied the various attempts from the beginning. In 1986 other international expeditions attacked K2 and 13 alpinists never returned. The film tells the story of the various attempts to climb the mountain and pieces of authentic film are used to show the various periods.
