The documentary illustates, from the beginning to the end, stages of a crowed alpinistic skking competition in the midst of mountain environment. It is a team race with three athletes in each team. The course is long and difficult, from Zermatt to Verbier, and the athletes have to climb to very high altitudes and make long dangerous descents in majestic scenery. Hundreds of athletes participate. The Swiss army is responsible for the organization which they carry out with plenty of men and equipment.
