The "vault" of Guyana forest is explored from the air by an experimental and revolutionary vehicle. It is a rubber raft, measuring 30 by 22 metres that can be inflated like a lilo, attached to a hot-air balloon. It stops a few metres above the vault or it rests on the highest branches to allow the experts to make detailed and comparative studies of the forest.
