A group of adventurous people leave Australia on a large boat for the Antarctica. Their destination is Mount Minto. The group land and start their journey over the ice on a motor-sledge. They run out of petrol, the ice melts and the motor-sledge gets stuck. The young people think about the boat. Will it become blocked in the ice because of the storm? Somehow or other, after various adventures, they reach the ice mountain which they climb. On the summit they put up a flag with the words "Antarctica, the Park of the World".
