The film records the difficulties and hardships faced by disabled athletes who take part in the world competition. The shots were made during the recent Olympics for the disabled that took place at the beginning of 1989 in Innsbruck. The film follows four athletes in particular, one of whom is Diana Golden, the fastest woman in the world on one ski only. These disabled are determined to win recognition as athletes.
