Over the years the Verdon Gorge has continued to attract reckless canoeists in search of great excitement. Here a young German repeats, 60 years later, the same descent made in 1932 by an adventurous Frenchman, today in his eighties. The film shows, alternately, the past and the present feat and the young canoeist's meeting with the old pioneer. The work also provides an opportunity for showing the changes in the nature in 60 years.
