A family starts out on a harmless hike. The daughter Melanie discovers a faraway massif that she feels attracted to in an inexplicable way, she has to go to that mountain. So she manipulates the parents, hides the maps and turns the guidepostos around. The parents completely lost their way and are forced to spend the night in a mountain but. Melanie finds a body in the ice which look exactly like her, that is when the parents get seriously alarmed. When they see three girls crossing the peak hand in hand, they take the risk of rushing down the mountain. When they arrive in the family, the father sends his wife and Melanie home while stays on, for wants to show the alpine rescue service where the body was found. But then he discovers a horrible truth...
