The documentary follows the competitions of sports climbing in Veliko Tarnovo in Bulgaria, valid for the 1989 World Championships. The most important moments of the competition are illustrated by performances of champions. Various aspects of the event are pointed out: the physical concentration before the event the imposing natural scenery , the efforts of the athletes that are not always successful and the final achievement.
