Buffal and Buffola are a middle aged couple who decide to find a place in some splendid natural environment to alleviate the boredom of the life of the city. They leave their home and travel to the bottom of a rugged mountain chain in their sports car. They begin to climb but night falls before they reach the top. They make a camp and go to sleep but they are soon disturbed by the noises of various wild animals and falling stones. They are not discouraged and the next day , using unconventional means, they manage to reach the sumit where an eagle has laid a large egg. Quite unintentionally they find themselves having to deal with this terrible bird of prey which causes them no end of trouble. We find them, some time later, in their comfortable drawing room where the eagle has been turned into a clock.
