Mark Wellman, a National Park Ranger, had a dream. He wanted to become the first paraplegic to reach the summit of El Capitan, the most challenging rock climb in the world. For him, who broke his back and lost the use of his legs in a fall from a mountain, this was more than just another record attempt and so he picked the biggest slab of granite for his comeback. Bob Dotsen of the NBC followed Wellman and Mike Corbett, his friend who made the attempt possible, for six month with the new camera crew.
