During the summer of 1990, an international mountaineering expedition, organized by the Mountain Wilderness association, reached K2 to remove the tones of rubbish, camp remains and ropes left behind on the slopes by previous expeditions. Despite the bad weather and falling stones, the ten members of the expedition climbed to 7.000 m. on the Abruzzi Spur about 3 tons of solid refuse, 30 thousand tins and 10 km of old ropes. The film narrates the story of this venture, its sagnificance and message, by highlighting the new awarenes for the ethical and environmental value of the mountain Wildernes is promoting its success in the mountaineering world.
