The film is an appeal to protect the mountain prairies and for this purpose it shows the fauna in general and the life of some species of birds in particular that can survive in pariries kept by mountain people. The scenes were filmed in Switzerland, in the valleys of Saas, Herens and Heremence in Vallese.
