This is the story of Dr. Friedrich Morton's life, an Austrian domestic explorer. Following in the steps of the famous Dachstein explorer, Friedrich Simony, Morton devoted his time to studying nature's multiform manifestation. He travelled in Sfrica and central America as an explorer, but always remained attracted by the unknown even in his adopted residence, Salzburg, which he considered a place to be explored.
