An ill-assorted pair, a dishabled man, confined to a wheelchair, and a woman who looks after him, are stuck on a solitary mountain road because their car has broken down. At first anger, then anxiety and panic embitter the relationship between them. However, when things are about to take a dramatic turn, feelings of human solidarity emerge almost by surprise.
