The film explores the Artic and investigates many of the secrets in the natural phenomena, including the Aurora Borealis. It probes the variety of animallife and particular vegetation that stillsurvive. It shows,among other things, that the industrial civilization is a lot to blame for the pollutionof the ice pack, and the contrast between the ancient traditions and surviving rituals of the native Eskimmo. The fate of an entire ecosystem hangs in the balance.
