The French climber Isabelle Patissier is in India. After a long journey on a strange little train she reaches the town of Hospet. She puts up a small camp of tents near the town and begins at once to familiarize herself with the magnificent cliffs on which temples and ancient edifices have been built. Isabelle carries out some evolutions, which attract the attention of three small Indians to whom she teaches climbing and the pleasure of acrobatics on the rocks.
