Mont Blanc did not even exist on the geographical maps of the past. It seems it did not have a name or if it had one it was terrible like “Mont Maudit”. The discovery and invention of Mont Blanc, the first ascent, the exploration of this part of the western Alps occur only when the mountain is no longer considered “sacred” and becomes a place of nature to be discovered and explored. The script is integrated by interviews with historians and experts and by readings from literature concerning the relationship between man and the mountain.
