Tibesti Massif in NW Chad is a myth for enthusiasts of the desert. Here live some thousand of nomads, mostly shepherds, who in «Tubu» language call themselves «The men of the rocks». For over twenty years this land was off-limits because it was considered to be of military importance. The film describes the first journey now made possible thanks to the collaboration of the local population.
