Ulan Tajga is the northernmost part of Mongolia. The Caatans, those who own reindeers, live here in the Darkhah Valley and on the mountains around. The film describes the Caatans’ daily life with particular attention for the reindeers that have permitted these people to inhabit a huge ecological space and have provided them with food, warmth and limited comfort.
