The Fustaca macaques, a special family of monkeys, live on the Island of Kushima in the south of Japan, off Khyushu. The Japanese scientist, Satsue Mito, studies this species and, now in her eighties, she has retired from the teaching profession to devote her time to primatology, a branch of zoology that concerns monkeys.
