The Lagorai Mountains may be a spiritual as well as geographical place for those who visit them. The Lagorai is a long chain, the longest in Trentino, which is nothing like the great expanses in the northern part of the world. However, if carefully studied, it can be traversed on sledges drawn by splendid huskies, as is shown in this interesting video.

Alessandro Tamanini
Born in Trento in 1954, he loves the mountains and is a keen sportsman in disciplines such as climbing, canoeing, skiing and gliding. His film-making activities began many years ago, concentrating particularly on documentaries. For many years he worked at the regional headquarters of the RAI as a journalist and cameraman. In the last few years he has also been involved in volunteer work, often following Fausto De Stefani in his journeys to Nepal.
