Aldo Champion lives in Bressogne, a small village in Valle d’Aosta. The water in the stream passing his house has been used for over thirty-five years to operate two water mills, one for wheat and the other for maize, a sawmill, a complete carpenter’s workshop and a small power plant which supplied the village with electricity until after the last war. Champion also used to be a great animator of the Brissogne community. With his camera he recorded various moments in the life of his family and of the local inhabitants. Champion talks in the French-Provenςal dialect about his life.
