Once populated by 800 inhabitants, Ostana, a small village in the Po valley, is almost deserted nowadays and only 15 people live there. The only witnesses of the busy and flourishing past are the numerous tombstones in the little cemetery and the monument to the alpine soldier in the village square, in memory of the number of young men who died for their country.
