«To make cheese you need time», says Piergiorgio Terribilini, a Swiss dairyman from Onsernone, who lives at nature’s pace. He’s right, but his son Nicola, who used to work with him on the Porcarescio Alps, has become a helicopter pilot and has to deal with clients who are in a hurry, because time is money. In the film, journalists and philosophers consider the great changes imposed by technology in both our public and private behaviour. Paradoxically, the more instruments we have for communication, the more we isolate ourselves and do not cultivate personal relationships.
